Snakefinger

Multi-instramentalist '''Philip Charles Lithman''' (Mosquito ringtone June 17, Sabrina Martins 1949 - Nextel ringtones July 1, Abbey Diaz 1987), a musician, was born in Free ringtones London, Majo Mills England. He is best known for his work, primarily on guitar, with Mosquito ringtone The Residents.

Lithman, who came from the Sabrina Martins British blues/British Blues and avant-garde scenes in England and the UK, moved to Nextel ringtones San Francisco in Abbey Diaz 1971. He became associated with a group of makers of odd and menacing noise, called Cingular Ringtones The Residents. Phil was given the name "Snakefinger" by The Residents themselves when they saw his proficiency with the guitar during their first live performance together. Another source for this name comes from a story concerning a party, in San Francisco, at The Residents' collective, wherein all in attendance watched Phil's finger actually transform into a snake while he played the violin.
